CLEVELAND, Aug. 30 (UPI) -- Raul Ibanez knocked in the go-ahead run in the top of the 10th inning Saturday, helping the Seattle Mariners edge the Cleveland Indians 4-3.

Cleveland's Shin-Soo Choo's two-run homer with no outs in the bottom of the ninth produced a 2-2 tie, but Ibanez and Jamie Burke hit RBI singles in the 10th, giving the Mariners two straight wins.

Ibanez and Ichiro Suzuki had three hits apiece and one of Tug Hulett's two hits was a third-inning solo homer.

The winning pitcher was closer J.J. Putz (6-4).

Randy Messenger recorded his first career save.

Jhonny Peralta hit a 10th-inning RBI single and Grady Sizemore had two hits for the Indians, who lost for just the second time in their last 10 contests.

The losing pitcher was Jensen Lewis (0-4).
