NORTON, Mass., Aug. 30 (UPI) -- South African Tim Clark was halfway to his first career PGA Tour win when he posted a 9-under 62 Saturday in the second round of the Deutsche Bank Championship.

Clark, who is the PGA Tour's all-time money leader without a career win, moved to 14-under-par 128 for a one-shot lead over Mike Weir (68) with two rounds left at this Friday-through-Monday tournament.

Vijay Singh (66) and Ben Curtis (65) were just two shots off the lead at 12-under 130. Sergio Garcia (64), Ernie Els (65), Jim Furyk (65) and Kevin Streelman (65) were at 11-under 131.

Clark, 32, is 5-foot-7 and one of the shortest hitters in on the Tour. He needed one birdie in the last two holes to become the fourth player in Tour history to post a 59, but he bogeyed both holes.
