GAINESVILLE, Fla., Aug. 30 (UPI) -- Heisman Trophy-winner Tim Tebow completed 9-of-14 passes for 137 yards and a TD Saturday to lead the fifth-ranked Florida Gators to a 56-10 win over Hawaii.

Brandon James scored two touchdowns for the Gators. Jeffrey Demps ran for 76 yards and a TD.

Greg Alexander was 11-for-21 with two interceptions and only 57 yards for the Warriors, who were unbeaten in regular-season play last year but lost in the Sugar Bowl to Georgia, which entered this season ranked No. 1 and opened with a 45-21 win over Georgia Southern Saturday.

The Florida-Hawaii game was scoreless in the first quarter, but Florida outscored Hawaii 28-0 in the second.
