BALTIMORE, Aug. 28 (UPI) -- D.J. Shockley's second-quarter, 20-yard pass to Brian Finneran produced the only touchdown of the game Thursday in Atlanta's 10-9 victory over Baltimore.

Shockley was one of three quarterbacks who played for the Falcons, but he saw the most action in a bid to make the roster. He completed seven of 14 passes for 98 yards.

Jason Elam, a 16-year veteran who comes to Atlanta from Denver this season, added a 29-yard field goal in the third period to give the Falcons a 10-6 lead. Matt Stover produced field goals of 25, 31 and 48 yards for the Ravens.

Jason Snelling, who spent most of last season on Atlanta's practice squad, gained 88 yards on 15 carries.

Atlanta (2-2), which is expected to start the season with Joey Herrington at quarterback, will open at home against Detroit. The Ravens (1-3) will play host to Cincinnati in their opener.
