ANAHEIM, Calif., Aug. 28 (UPI) -- Emil Brown hit a two-run homer and finished with three RBI Wednesday, powering the Oakland Athletics' 6-5 win over the Los Angeles Angels.
Bobby Crosby smashed a two-run double and Eric Patterson drove in one run. Rajai Davis scored twice and collected four hits for the first time in his career as Oakland two of three from the Angels.
Huston Street (4-5) earned the win with 1 2/3 innings of perfect relief. Starter Gio Gonzalez surrendered four run on three hit and five walk in three-plus innings.
Brad Ziegler got the final five outs for his sixth save.
Erick Aybar had three RBI and Howie Kendrick had one for the Angels, who have lost nine of their last 14 games. Both players left the game with hamstring problems.
The losing pitcher was Joe Saunders (14-7), who coughed up six runs on eight hits in just 1 1/3 innings.
