INDIANAPOLIS, Aug. 28 (UPI) -- Indianapolis center Jeff Saturday will likely miss at least the first six weeks of the season, the Indianapolis Star reported.

Saturday, an integral part of the Colts' offensive line, suffered ligament damage to his right knee last weekend in an exhibition game against Buffalo.

"I don't think he'll be able to get back on the field for at least six or seven weeks," Saturday's agent Ralph Cindrich said. "He's down for a while."

Saturday has made 59 straight starts. If he has surgery on the knee, he could be lost for 11 weeks.

He has been named to three Pro Bowls.
