MLB: Colorado 7, San Francisco 2

SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 27 (UPI) -- Brad Hawpe scored three times Tuesday, helping the Colorado Rockies knock off the San Francisco Giants 7-2.

Hawpe went 2-for-2 with three walks on the night.

Garrett Atkins, Troy Tulowitzki and Chris Iannetta drove in two runs apiece for Colorado, which has won four games in a row and nine of its last 11 overall.

Jorge De La Rosa allowed two runs -- one earned -- on five hits over six innings to improve to 7-7. Jason Grilli tossed three perfect innings in relief for his first major league save.

Rich Aurilia had three hits and scored twice for the Giants, who have lost two straight after a season-best five wins in a row.

Matt Palmer (0-2) surrendered five runs -- four earned -- on four hits and six walks in 4 1/3 frames.
