SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 26 (UPI) -- Troy Tulowitzki's fourth-inning triple scored Omar Quintanilla with the winning run Monday in the Colorado Rockies' 4-2 win over San Francisco.
The Giants struck first, scoring two runs in the first inning on an RBI triple by Randy Winn and a sacrifice fly by Bengie Molina.
Yorvit Torrealba tied it in the second with a two-run homer, his sixth round-tripper of the season.
The Rockies got an insurance run in the eighth when pinch-hitter Jeff Baker drove in Ian Stewart with a sacrifice fly.
Jeff Francis (4-8) allowed two runs on seven hits in seven innings with one walk and two strikeouts to get the win for the Rockies who have won eight of their last 10 games.
Brian Fuentes pitched a perfect ninth for his 26th save.
Matt Cain (8-10) took the loss, going six innings and allowing three runs on three hits with four walks and four strikeouts for the Giants, who snapped a five-game winning streak.
