MLB: Chicago White Sox 4, Baltimore 3

BALTIMORE, Aug. 25 (UPI) -- Alexei Ramirez was 4-for-5 with two runs scored Monday to lead the Chicago White Sox to a 4-3 victory over the Baltimore Orioles.

The White Sox also beat the Orioles 4-3 in the 14th-inning completion of a suspended game earlier Monday.

In the regularly-scheduled game, Jim Thome hit a solo home run and Ken Griffey Jr. had an RBI for the White Sox.

Clayton Richard (2-2) earned the win after he gave up three runs on six hits with a walk in six innings for Chicago.

Jay Payton was 2-for-3 with an RBI and Kevin Millar and Ramon Hernandez each drove in a run for the Orioles, who have lost four of five.

Chris Waters (2-1) suffered his first career loss as he gave up four runs on five hits in seven innings.
