BALTIMORE, Aug. 25 (UPI) -- Lou Montanez's RBI single in the 14th inning Monday gave Baltimore a 4-3 win over the Chicago White Sox in a rain-suspended game that started April 28.

The game was originally played in Chicago but was completed in Baltimore, with the White Sox the home team, before the regularly scheduled game with the Orioles as host.

Nick Markakis singled to start the 14th inning. Kevin Millar followed with a single. Alex Cintron moved the batters up a base with a sacrifice bunt. Luke Scott was intentionally walked before D.J. Carrasco took the mound and Montanez hit a bloop single to center.

Rocky Cherry, who came on in the 14th to close the game, loaded the bases, but got his first save of the season.

Aubrey Huff and Ramon Hernandez homered for the Orioles and Alberto Castillo (1-0) got the win for getting the final out of the 13th inning.

Carlos Quentin and Juan Uribe had homers for the White Sox.

Horacio Ramirez (1-3) was charged with the loss.
