Tommie Harris' wife dies

ST. LOUIS, Aug. 24 (UPI) -- Albert Pujols, Brian Barton and Joe Mather drove in the St. Louis Cardinals' runs Sunday in a 6-3 win over the Atlanta Braves.
Pujols hit a two-run home run, Barton doubled in two runs and Mather sent one home with a double and another with a sacrifice fly.
Braden Looper (12-10) worked seven innings and earned the win. Looper allowed three runs and six hits, striking out five. He has pitched seven innings in six straight starts.
Losing pitcher Jo-Jo Reyes (3-10), who drove in two of Atlanta's runs with a single, gave up all of the Cardinals' runs and nine hits in 5 2/3 innings.
Martin Prado had the other Braves' RBI.
