DENVER, Aug. 24 (UPI) -- Brad Hawpe's RBI single capped a four-run seventh inning rally Saturday that gave the Colorado Rockies a 7-6 win over the Cincinnati Reds.
The other runs in the rally scored on Matt Holliday's three-run double. Like Holliday's hit, Hawpe's game-winner came with one out.
Ian Stewart had one RBI and two runs scored on Paul Bako's third-inning throwing error. Four players had two hits each for the Rockies, who have won six of their last 10 games.
The winner was reliever Luis Vizcaino (1-0), while closer Brian Fuentes earned his 25th save despite putting the tying run on in the top of the ninth.
Cincinnati's Jay Bruce had two hits, one an eighth-inning solo homer, and three RBI. Three others knocked in one run apiece.
Joey Votto had three hits and Chris Dickerson added two hits for the Reds, losers of five of eight.
The losing pitcher was Mike Lincoln (1-4).
