Hawaii wins Little League World Series

SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa., Aug. 24 (UPI) -- Hawaii scored in each of the game's six innings and won the Little League World Series Sunday with a 12-3 victory over Mexico.

Tanner Tokunaga hit two home runs and Iolana Akau also homered for the Hawaii team, from Waipahu on the island of Oahu.

United States teams have won the series four straight years.
