Olympic Medal: W Team Handball

BEIJING, Aug. 23 (UPI) -- Norway won the Olympic gold medal Saturday in women's team handball.

The only previous Olympic title in the sport for Norway came in the Barcelona Games of 1992.

Russia took the silver and South Korea the bronze.

Norway won the gold medal game 34-27.
