EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Aug. 23 (UPI) -- Brett Favre and Eli Manning played the entire first half Saturday when the New York Jets posted a 10-7 pre-season victory over the NFL champion New York Giants.

Favre completed 9-of-12 passes for 96 yards. Kellen Clemens also was 9-of-12 for 83 yards and Brett Ratliff was 2-of-4 passing with a touchdown for the Jets. Paul Raymond had a 24-yard touchdown catch.

Manning was 10-of-17 for 113 yards for the Giants. Ahmad Bradshaw had 28 yards and a touchdown on seven carries. Domenik Hixon caught three passes for 51 yards.

In addition to losing the game, the Giants may have lost defensive end Osi Umenyiora for a while. He injured his left knee and was carted off the field in the second quarter. X-rays were negative and he will be further evaluated Sunday.
