NFL: Jacksonville 23, Tampa Bay 17

TAMPA, Fla., Aug. 23 (UPI) -- David Garrard completed 10-of-16 passes for 118 yards and two touchdowns Saturday to lead the Jacksonville Jaguars to a 23-17 pre-season win over Tampa Bay.

Fred Taylor rushed for 26 yards on seven carries for the Jaguars. Maurice Jones-Drew had just one carry for minus-four yards before leaving with a sprained ankle.

Luke McCown completed 11-of-19 passes for 104 yards and a touchdown for Tampa Bay. Jeff Garcia went 11-of-18 for 79 yards and a touchdown, but threw two interceptions.
