SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 23 (UPI) -- Tim Lincecum shut out San Diego for eight innings and Travis Ishikawa hit a three-run homer Friday night to lead San Francisco to a 5-0 win over San Diego.
Lincecum (14-3) held the Padres to four hits, with three walks and eight strikeouts.
Keiichi Yabu retired San Diego in order in the ninth.
Bengie Molina had two hits, two RBI and one run scored for the Giants, who have won five of their last six games.
Cha Seung Baek (4-8) went seven innings, giving up five runs -- all in the fourth inning -- with seven hits, eight strikeouts and two walks.
Luis Rodriguez had two hits for the Padres, who lost their fifth straight game.
