SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 21 (UPI) -- Emmanuel Burriss scored the winning run Thursday on a bottom of the ninth wild pitch in San Francisco's 4-3 win over the Florida Marlins.
Luis Gonzalez'seventh inning sacrifice fly pulled Florida into a 3-3 tie, but Burriss scored the game-winner on a wild pitch by Florida closer and losing pitcher Kevin Gregg (6-6) with one out in the ninth.
Aaron Rowand had two hits and one RBI.
Ryan Rohlinger hit an RBI triple and Eugenio Velez hit an RBI single, both in the fourth.
Like Rowand, Randy Winn had two hits in a 12-hit attack in the Giants' fourth win in their last five games.
The winner was closer Brian Wilson (2-2) after a 1-2-3 ninth.
Florida also scored on Dan Uggla's solo homer in the first and Josh Willingham's RBI double in the fourth.
Willingham had two of the eight hits for the Marlins, losers of two of three.
