MLB: Milwaukee 5, Houston 2

MILWAUKEE, Aug. 20 (UPI) -- Prince Fielder and J.J. Hardy drove in two runs each Wednesday, lifting Milwaukee to a 5-2 win over the Houston Astros.

Milwaukee made the most of just four hits, two by Hardy, who blasted a two-run seventh inning homer.

Fielder hit two sacrifice flies, while both Gabe Kapler and Corey Hart had one hit in the Brewers' third win in their last five games.

Winner Manny Parra (10-6) gave up two earned runs and six hits in five innings.

Following two others, closer Salomon Torres earned his 24th save with a 1-2-3 ninth.

Houston's Geoff Blum and Reggie Abercrombie drove in one run each.

Like Blum, Miguel Tejada had two hits for the Astros, losers in four of six.

Losing pitcher Wandy Rodriguez (7-6) yielded three runs -- two earned -- and three hits in 5 1/3 innings with five walks and six strikeouts.
