
MILWAUKEE, Aug. 18 (UPI) -- CC Sabathia pitched a complete game and Ray Durham drove in three runs Monday to lead the Milwaukee Brewers to a 9-3 win over the Houston Astros.
Sabathia (8-0) turned in his fifth complete game since he was acquired from the Cleveland Indians July 7, allowing three runs on 11 hits with nine strikeouts. Sabathia has won a career-high 11 straight decisions.
He also was 2-for-3 with two RBI.
Durham had three hits and a run for the Brewers. Corey Hart was 3-for-4 with a solo homer, two RBI and two runs scored and Jason Kendall was 2-for-3 with a walk and three runs scored.
Darin Erstad had three hits and Reggie Abercrombie and Ty Wigginton homered for Houston, which lost for just the third time in its last 12 games.
Loser Randy Wolf (8-11) gave up six runs on five hits in four innings.
