Olympic Medal: W Tennis Doubles

BEIJING, Aug. 17 (UPI) -- Serena and Venus Williams of the United States won the Olympic gold medal Sunday in women's tennis doubles.

The silver went to Anabel Medina Garrigues and Virginia Ruano Pascual of Spain. Yan Zi and Zheng Jie of China took the bronze.

The Williams sisters rebounded to take the doubles gold medal after both were eliminated in the singles quarterfinals.
