Olympic Medal: W 3-meter Diving

BEIJING, Aug. 17 (UPI) -- Guo Jingjing of China won the Olympic gold medal Sunday in women's three-meter diving.

She successfully defended the title she won in Athens and added a gold to the one she captured earlier in these Games in the springboard synchronized event.

Julia Pakhalina of Russia took the silver. Wu Minxia won the bronze.
