WASHINGTON, Aug. 17 (UPI) -- Troy Tulowitzki's three hits and three RBI Saturday led the Colorado Rockies to a 13-6 win over Washington, a Nationals franchise record ninth straight loss.
Three other Colorado players had two RBI. Four knocked in one run, while Ian Stewart, Brad Hawpe and Garrett Atkins all had two hits each for the Rockies, who have won three of their last four games.
Winner Livan Hernandez (11-9), a former National, yielded six earned runs and 10 hits in six innings.
Washington's Ronnie Belliard had three hits and three RBI. Lastings Milledge and Ryan Zimmerman drove in one run each and a run scored on Kory Casto's second inning groundout.
Milledge had three hits and Jesus Flores added two hits for the Nationals, who won three of four at Colorado this summer.
Losing pitcher John Lannan (6-12) surrendered eight earned runs and seven hits in four innings.
