ST. LOUIS, Aug. 16 (UPI) -- Travis Minor rushed 11 times for 39 yards and scored the game's only touchdown Saturday to give the St. Louis Rams a 7-6 pre-season win over San Diego.

Antonio Pittman led the Rams in rushing with nine carries for 67 yards. The Rams garnered 184 yards on the ground.

Marc Bulger connected on 7-of-14 passes for 56 yards, but two of his passes were intercepted.

Charlie Whitehurst was 6-of-14 passing for 67 yards in the loss. Chargers rookie running back Jacob Hester, a third-round pick out of LSU, had 12 carries for 59 yards.
