NFL: Arizona 27, Kansas City 17

KANSAS CITY, Mo., Aug. 16 (UPI) -- Matt Leinart passed for 62 yards and a touchdown Saturday when the Arizona Cardinals posted a 27-17 pre-season win over the Kansas City Chiefs.

Rookie running back Tim Hightower ran for 28 yards and a touchdown and Tim Castille caught four passes for 45 yards and a TD for the Cardinals. Kurt Warner started at quarterback for Arizona and was 6-for-9 for 54 yards.

Kansas City's Tyler Thigpen was 16-for-27 for 174 yards with one touchdown and one interception while Larry Johnson rushed 14 times for 61 yards for the Chiefs. Brodie Croyle started at quarterback and went 7-for-13 for 38 yards.
