HOUSTON, Aug. 16 (UPI) -- Miguel Montero slugged two homers, one a grand slam, Saturday to key the Arizona Diamondbacks' 11-5 win over the Houston Astros.

Montero's grand slam capped a five-run outburst in the top of the first inning and his second homer, a solo shot leading off the fourth, increased Arizona's lead to 6-1.

Chris Young belted a grand slam in the sixth and, like Montero, had three hits. Adam Dunn and Mark Reynolds had one RBI each, while Dunn added two hits for the Diamondbacks, who rose to 8-1 against the Astros this season.

Winner Yusmeiro Petit (2-3) gave up two earned runs and just four hits in seven innings with a walk and five strikeouts.

Five Houston players had one RBI. Ty Wigginton had three of the seven hits for the Astros, losers of the first two contests in the three-game series, and extended his hitting streak to 13 straight games.

The losing pitcher was starter Brandon Backe (7-12).
