WASHINGTON, Aug. 16 (UPI) -- Argentina's Juan Martin Del Potro will play Serbia's Viktor Troicki in Sunday's final of the Legg Mason Tennis Classic in Washington.
The second-seeded Del Potro won 6-2, 6-1 over Germany's Tommy Haas in one of Saturday's semifinals for his 18th straight match victory. He will play in an ATP final for the fourth straight tournament, having captured titles in Stuttgart, Kitzbuhel and Los Angeles since a second-round loss to Stanislas Wawrinka at Wimbledon.
Del Potro, who has lost only two sets in that run, finished off his Saturday match in an hour and 22 minutes.
Troicki beat Russia's Igor Kunitsyn 6-4, 6-2, in a match that lasted just over one hour, 15 minutes Saturday evening.
Troicki reached the semifinals with a come-from-behind quarterfinal victory over American Andy Roddick. The top-seeded Roddick, who lost to Del Potro in last week's Los Angeles final, won the first seven games Friday before Troicki pulled off his 0-6, 6-2, 6-4 upset.
