NFL: Buffalo 24, Pittsburgh 21

TORONTO, Aug. 14 (UPI) -- Leodis McKelvin scored on a 95-yard kickoff return for the Buffalo Bills, who led all the way and beat Pittsburgh 24-21 Thursday in a pre-season game.

Bills' quarterback Trent Edwards completed nine of 11 passes for 104 yards and two touchdowns in the contest played in Toronto. Both scoring passes, one for seven yards and the other for 13, were to tight end Robert Royal.

Pittsburgh's Ben Roethlisberger connected on nine of 11 passes for 142 yards and a 40-yard touchdown to Santonio Holmes.

Rookie Steelers' quarterback Dennis Dixon ran for a 47-yard touchdown.
