
CLEVELAND, Aug. 13 (UPI) -- Jeremy Guthrie gave up an earned run and just four hits Wednesday to help Baltimore record a 6-1 victory at Cleveland.
Guthrie (10-8) got help from three relievers after tiring. He threw 101 pitches while winning his third straight decision. Guthrie's record is 7-1 in his last 11 starts.
Aubrey Huff had two hits, one a second-inning solo homer, the other an RBI double in the ninth. Nick Markakis had three hits and two RBI. Jay Payton drove in a run.
One run scored on Juan Rincon's ninth-inning wild pitch and Melvin Mora added three hits for the Orioles, who stopped their three-game losing streak.
Cleveland's run scored on Grady Sizemore's fifth-inning double.
Four others had one hit for the Indians, whose five-game winning streak ended.
Losing pitcher Anthony Reyes (1-1) yielded two earned runs and six hits in six innings.
