Olympic Medal: W Swim 200 Free

BEIJING, Aug. 12 (UPI) -- Federica Pellegrini of Italy won the Olympic gold medal Wednesday in the women's 200-meter freestyle.

The silver went to Sara Isakovic of Slovenia, the first medal of these Olympics for that nation and its first swimming medal ever. Pang Jiaying of China took the bronze.
