Tenn. home of 'Pacman' sells for $1.1M

FRANKLIN, Tenn., Aug. 10 (UPI) -- The agent for former Tennessee Titans cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones says the player wanted more than the $1.1 million bid for his home in Franklin, Tenn.

Agent Worrick Robinson said the Dallas Cowboys cornerback, who missed the 2007 NFL season due to an off-the-field conduct suspension, wanted to sell his 30-acre estate for a figure of around $2 million, The (Nashville) Tennessean said Sunday.

The $1.1 million figure from Saturday's auction is contingent on Jones accepting the price, a decision Robinson said would be difficult for the troubled football player.

"He really, really loves this piece of property, and it means a lot to him," Robinson said. "He's got to make a business decision as to what his cutoff will be."

The Tennessean said Jones spent three seasons with the Titans after being drafted in the first round by the NFL franchise, but repeatedly got into trouble off the field.

His recurring legal problems prompted the suspension from the league and moved the Titans to trade Jones to the Cowboys in April, the newspaper reported.
