Olympic Medal: W Synchro 3m Diving

BEIJING, Aug. 10 (UPI) -- Guo Jingjing and Wu Minxia of China captured the Olympic gold medal Sunday in women's synchronized three-meter diving.

Julia Pakhalina and Anastasia Pozdnyakova of Russia won the silver medal while Ditte Kotzian and Heike Fischer of Germany won the bronze.

The Chinese hope to sweep the eight diving gold medals that will be awarded in Bejing.
