
PHILADELPHIA, Aug. 10 (UPI) -- Chase Utley's two-run home run in the seventh inning put Philadelphia ahead and the Phillies held on Sunday for a 6-3 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Greg Dobbs doubled in a run to tie the game at 3-3 in the bottom of the seventh inning and then Utley hit a shot over the right field wall to make it 5-3.
Carlos Ruiz had a double and scored two runs for the Phillies, who have won three of five.
Scott Eyre (3-0) retired just one batter but got the win in relief of Jamie Moyer, who had allowed three runs and seven hits over six innings.
Jason Michaels hit a two-run double and Doug Mientkiewicz doubled in a run for the Pirates, losers of six of eight.
Tyler Yates (4-3) took the loss, yielding three runs and three hits in one inning.
