NFL: Washington 17, Buffalo 14

LANDOVER, Md., Aug. 9 (UPI) -- Shaun Suisham kicked a 46-yard field goal early in the third quarter Saturday when the Washington Redskins posted a 17-14 pre-season win over Buffalo.

Todd Collins completed eight-of-11 passes for 77 yards with one touchdown and one interception for the Redskins. Clinton Portis and Ladell Betts scored touchdowns for Washington and Marcus Mason led all players with 80 yards on 16 carries.

J.P. Losman threw for 73 yards and one touchdown on seven-of-nine passing for the Bills. James Hardy's lone reception was for a TD and Rian Lindell made two-of-three field-goal attempts for Buffalo.
