Dixon gets record-tying sixth indy win

SPARTA, Ky., Aug. 9 (UPI) -- Scott Dixon passed Helio Castroneves on the last turn of the final lap to win Saturday's Meijer Indy 300 at the Kentucky Speedway.

Dixon finished 0.5532 seconds ahead of Castroneves to gain his record-tying sixth IndyCar Series victory of the season and the 16th of his career.

Marco Andretti finished third, Vitor Meira fourth and Dan Wheldon fifth.
