Beverley won't play for Razorbacks

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark., Aug. 8 (UPI) -- The University of Arkansas announced Friday that guard Patrick Beverley will not play for the Razorbacks next season but offered no explanation.

A news release said administrators and coaches would have no further comment because of student privacy laws.

Beverley, a 6-foot-1 junior from Chicago, averaged 12.1 points and 6.6 rebounds for Arkansas last season.
