MLB: Florida 8, Philadelphia 2

PHILADELPHIA, Aug. 5 (UPI) -- Jeremy Hermida had four RBI Tuesday to lead the Florida Marlins to an 8-2 victory over the Philadelphia Phillies.

Josh Johnson (2-0) gave up five hits and walked four in six scoreless innings while winning his second consecutive start. The Marlins have won two of three, and cut the Phillies' lead in the NL East to 1 1/2 games.

Hanley Ramirez added two hits and an RBI, and stole his 26th base of the season, while Alfredo Amezaga had two hits and two RBI.

Jamie Moyer (10-7) went into the game 10-0 record in 10 career starts against the Marlins. But he took his first loss to Florida after giving up two runs on six hits and three walks in five innings.

Shane Victorino hit a two-run homer for the Phillies, who had seven of their previous eight games.
