MLB: Boston 5, Oakland 2

BOSTON, Aug. 3 (UPI) -- Jed Lowrie hit a two-run triple and Coco Crisp added two RBI Sunday, fueling a 5-2 Boston win over Oakland that extended the A's losing streak to six games.

Kevin Youkilis singled in a run and Jason Bay scored twice for the Red Sox. Crisp hit sacrifice flies for both of his RBI.

Daric Barton belted a two-run homer for Oakland.

Daisuki Matsuzaka (12-2) allowed two runs, scattering four hits and striking out eight batters in six innings to pick up the win. Hideki Okajima and Manny Delcarmen each pitched a scoreless inning and Jonathan Papelbon tossed a perfect ninth for his 31st save of the season.

Losing pitcher Dallas Braden (2-2) gave up four runs and six hits in 3 1/3 innings.
