PGA Tour Money List 2009

RENO, Nev., Aug. 2 (UPI) -- Parker McLachlin posted a 6-under 66 Saturday to take a six-stroke lead after three rounds of the PGA Reno-Tahoe Open.

McLachlin, 29, missed the 54-hole scoring record by one stroke as he finished 54 holes at 20-under 196. He held the 54-hole lead for the first time in his PGA Tour career and he will go for his first tour win Sunday.

McLachlin has just two top-10 finishes this season. His best career finish on the PGA Tour is a tie for fifth.

After finishing 137th on the PGA Tour money list last year, McLachlin is only partially exempt on tour this season.

Brian Davis (68) is in second place at 14-under 202. John Rollins (70), the only player in the top-five with a PGA Tour win, is third at 10-under 206. Andrew Buckle 68) and John Merrick (73) share fourth place at 207.
