ATLANTA, Aug. 2 (UPI) -- Prince Fielder knocked in three runs with two homers Saturday, propelling Milwaukee to a 4-2 win over Atlanta.

Fielder's home run total rose to 25 with a solo shot in the top of the seventh and a two-run shot in the eighth. Jason Kendall hit a seventh-inning RBI single.

Corey Hart and Craig Counsell also had one hit apiece for the Brewers, who made the most of five hits in their second straight victory.

Winner C.C. Sabathia rose to 5-0 since coming from Cleveland in a trade in July.

In 8 1/3 innings, he surrendered two earned runs and six hits with one walk and nine strikeouts.

Closer Salomon Torres snuffed out a ninth-inning rally to earn his 21st save.

Atlanta's Kelly Johnson and Casey Kothchman had one RBI piece. Like Johnson, Martin Prado had two hits in the Braves' seventh loss in their last eight games.
