STOCKHOLM, Sweden, July 31 (UPI) -- Caroline Wozniacki and Anabel Medina Garrigues each dropped just one game Thursday in second-round wins at the $145,000 Nordic Light Open in Sweden.

Wozniacki, seeded fourth, dropped just seven points in the second set of 6-1, 6-0 rout of Emma Laine while Medina Garrigues, seeded fifth, matched the feat with a 6-0, 6-1 win over Barbora Zahlavova Strycova.

Sixth-seeded Sania Mirza was ousted, however, falling 4-6, 6-3, 6-3 to Iveta Benesova.

Also in the second round, Camille Pin stopped Johanna Larsson and Ruano Pascual beat Maria Elena Camerin with both matches decided on 6-3, 6-2 scores.

Thursday's winners advance to the tournament quarterfinals Friday. That schedule has No. 1-seeded Agnieszka Radwanska, the defending champion, playing Pin; No. 3-seeded Katarina Srebotnik going against Ruano Pascual; Wozniacki meeting Medina Garrigues; and Benesova facing Vera Dushevina, the 2007 Nordic Light runner-up.
