MLB: Chicago Cubs 6, Milwaukee 4

MILWAUKEE, July 29 (UPI) -- Derrek Lee had three hits and three RBI, including a go-ahead RBI double in the ninth, to lead the Chicago Cubs to a 6-4 win over Milwaukee Monday.

Alfonso Soriano homered, doubled and scored three times for the Cubs, who have won four of six and pushed their NL Central lead over the second-place Brewers to two games.

Chad Gaudin (7-4) got the win for a scoreless inning in relief of Ted Lilly, who gave up seven hits and three runs in six innings.

Salomon Torres (5-3) gave up two runs on two hits and three walks in the ninth to take the loss.

J.J. Hardy, Ryan Braun and Russell Branyan each hit solo homers for the Brewers, who lost for the third time in four games.

Brewers starter CC Sabathia gave up three runs on nine hits in 6 2/3 innings.
