
SAN FRANCISCO, July 27 (UPI) -- Tim Lincecum struck out 13 batters but Arizona starter Brandon Webb got the win Saturday night when the Diamondbacks beat San Francisco 5-3.
Webb (14-4) held the Giants to three runs on four hits in seven innings with two walks and eight strikeouts.
Chris Snyder had two hits and two RBI, while Orlando Hudson and Conor Jackson had two hits each for the Diamondbacks, who have won four of their last five.
Lincecum gave up two runs on seven hits in seven innings with no walks and a career-high 13 strikeouts.
Tyler Walker (3-6) gave up three runs in the eighth, when Arizona came from behind on an RBI sacrifice fly by Chris Young, an RBI single by Jackson and an RBI sac fly by Chad Tracy.
Aaron Rowand had two hits and two RBI, and Randy Winn had one RBI and scored one run for the Giants, who lost their second straight game after winning three straight.
