
TORONTO, July 26 (UPI) -- Alex Rios hit two solo homers and a sacrifice fly Saturday to fuel the Toronto Blue Jays' 8-3 win over Seattle.
The first four-bagger, his seventh this season, opened the scoring with two outs in the bottom of the first inning and his eighth homer, with no outs in the fifth, increased Toronto's lead to 6-1. The veteran center-fielder added a sacrifice fly in the sixth.
Joe Inglett had three hits, two RBI and also scored on a third-inning wild pitch by starting and losing pitcher R.A. Dickey (2-6).
Scott Rolen and Brad Wilkerson had one RBI apiece and Matt Stairs also had two hits in the Blue Jays' fifth straight win.
Winner David Purcey (1-1) surrendered three earned runs and seven hits in six innings.
Seattle's Jose Lopez hit a two-run homer and an RBI double.
Adrian Beltre and Jamie Burke added two hits each for the Mariners, whose losing streak rose to seven straight games.
