TORONTO, July 24 (UPI) -- Dwayne De Rosario scored on a penalty kick in the 69th minute Thursday, giving Major League Soccer a 3-2, All-Star Game victory over West Ham United.

The MLS All-Stars improved their record to 5-0 in the format that sends them against foreign competition.

West Ham opened the scoring on the first of two goals by Dean Ashton, who broke in alone in the 26th minute. Christian Gomez tied it a minute later, sending a shot across the goalmouth and into the left corner.

Cuauhtemoc Blanco put MLS in front in the 43rd minute with an acrobatic shot that caught the top right corner of the net. Ashton tied it in the 67th minute, but De Rosario was fouled in the box by Lucas Neill and made good on the penalty kick.
