MLB: Cincinnati 4, San Diego 3 (11 inn.)

CINCINNATI, July 22 (UPI) -- Jeff Keppinger doubled home the winning run in the bottom of the 11th inning Tuesday, delivering the Cincinnati Reds a 4-3 win over the San Diego Padres.

Jay Bruce had three hits and scored the winning run. Paul Bako had two RBI.

Gary Majewski (1-0) earned the win by pitching a perfect 11th.

Brian Giles had a two-run double and Edgar Gonzalez got three of the Padres' six hits in club's seventh loss in eight games.

Bryan Corey (1-3) took the loss after working the final inning.

Padres starter Jake Peavy and Reds starter Johnny Cueto had no-decisions, with each allowing three runs in their six innings of work. Peavy allowed seven hits and Cueto, a rookie, allowed four hits while striking out 10.
