MLB: Chicago White Sox 10, Texas 2

CHICAGO, July 22 (UPI) -- Nick Swisher hit a three-run homer and Alexei Ramirez had a grand slam Tuesday to power the Chicago White Sox to a 10-2 win over the Texas Rangers.

Mark Buehrle (8-8) scattered six hits without a walk in 7 1/3 innings to win for the sixth time in his last eight decisions.

Luis Mendoza (2-4) was the loser for Texas after giving up six runs on nine hits in four-plus innings. Chris Davis hit a solo home run and Marlon Byrd drove in the other Texas run.
