UMAG, Croatia, July 20 (UPI) -- Spain's Fernando Verdasco claimed his first ATP title in four years Sunday, rallying to beat Igor Andreev in the championship match of the Croatia Open.
The top-seeded Verdasco outlasted the fourth-seeded Russian 3-6, 6-4, 7-6 (7-4) in a nearly three-hour-long battle.

Verdasco won the Valencia Open in 2004, his only previous tour title.
Andreev had finished second in last week's Swiss Open.
