R.W. Eaks wins 3M title by 6 shots

BLAINE, Minn., July 20 (UPI) -- R.W. Eaks coasted to victory in Minnesota's Champions Tour 3M Championship Sunday, shooting a 7-under-par 65 to win by six shots.

The win was Eaks' third on the senior tour, all in the past two seasons.

Eaks finished at 23-under 193, the best winning total on the tour this season.

Gary Hallberg (65) and Bernhard Langer (66) tied for second at 17-under 199.

Gene Jones (69) was fourth at 200 and Ron Streck fifth at 201.
