Parmentier takes Austria tennis title

BAD GASTEIN, Austria, July 20 (UPI) -- Pauline Parmentier of France won the Gastein Ladies tennis tournament in Austria Sunday, beating Czech qualifier Lucie Hradecka in straight sets.

Parmentier, who was seeded fourth, won her second victory on the WTA tour 6-4, 6-4. She also won an event in Uzbekistan in October.

"I am very happy today, it was a perfect week," Parmentier said.

Hradecka played in her first WTA singles final.
